Conference Features

Certified Permanent Cosmetic Professional (CPCP)    9:00am, Monday, September 27th
The CPCP Examination will be administered only once during the Fall Conference. Candidates must be pre-registered for this exam no later than Tuesday, September 14th.

The SPCP Booth
SPCP runs a booth at every event for products available exclusively for our members. Members may purchase items such as colorful client brochures, SPCP logo items, and business form templates. Various publications are available such as the SPCP Permanent Cosmetics textbook and various workbooks.

Train the Trainer
This highly acclaimed program is presented by past presidents Marjorie Grimm, CPCP and Elizabeth Finch-Howell, CPCP. While a required class for those wishing to become SPCP trainer members, this will be a program even seasoned trainers will want to attend. Ever-evolving, it is designed for those members who wish to, or are currently teaching permanent cosmetics. Attendees of this class must be CPCP certi-fied or scheduled to take their certification exam during the conference. The SPCP required five years permanent cosmetics experience to become a trainer member, although not required for class attendance; however, it would be in the attendee’s best interest to take the Train the Trainer class around the time they would qualify for trainer membership. Please refer to the SPCP website for other trainer member requirements or contact the office for a packet.

Train the Trainer will run from 9:00 am until 4:30 pm on Thursday September 23rd and Friday September 24th. Pre-registration is required. Be sure to register early as Train the Trainer generally fills to capacity.
