Hotel Information

The 4-Star Crowne Plaza Brussels Europa hotel in downtown Brussels is just a five minute walk from Parc Cinquantenaire. Schuman train station is at the foot of the hotel and Maelbeek Metro station and bus station are directly situated under the hotel. The metro takes you to the city center in just five minutes, with its Grand Place, Manneken Pis and the main shopping area. Located on the first floor of the hotel is the Chatter’s Delight Bar and The Gallery Restaurant for your dining and networking pleasures. There are eight different languages spoken by the hotel staff which include Arabic, Dutch, English, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Spanish.

Registration for the Conference does not include air or hotel reservations. A block of rooms has been reserved at a special conference rate. They are available until September 18th, 2008 but are expected to sell out before that date. Be sure to mention the SPCP when making your reservation.

Travel Information

Brussels International Airport serves many airlines. Taxi fare to the hotel from the airport is approximately 30 €¸ and 30 minutes one-way. Train fare to the hotel is 2.8€¸ and approximately 45 minutes one-way. The airport train station is located below the terminal. You can find train schedules and information online at the Belgina Railways website ( http://www.b-rail.be/main/E/ ). If you are traveling from outside of Belgium, be sure you have a valid passport.
