Course
This is by far
the most comprehensive, industry specific bloodborne pathogens training
program available for permanent cosmetic professionals. All aspects of the
Bloodborne Pathogens Standard are thoroughly covered, including needlestick
guidelines, Hepatitis B and C and MRSA information, exposure control plan
requirements, recordkeeping, and the latest interpretations covering these
topics as they relate to the body modification industry. This class has been
updated and has recently been attended by members in the Chicago area,
giving it rave reviews! Remember, a bloodborne pathogens class is required
at least every two years to maintain CPCP certification.

David is
currently the Health & Safety Advisor for the SPCP, heading the Health
Educators team. He has also served on the SPCP Board of Directors and
received the prestigious Industry Leader Award. Having been involved in
piercing for over twenty-two years, David founded Cleveland’s first piercing

What They Are
and How They’re Used.
So many
questions about our pigments remain unanswered and overall this topic
remains a mystery to many. The difference between natural organic, chemical
organic, and inorganic color additives will be discussed. This has become a
powerhouse lecture, having the greatest visuals ever, which add to the
presentation’s impact on how well the permanent cosmetics professional
understands the subject matter. Finally, you will able to speak
intelligently on the very crucial part of the success of a procedure -
color.

Elizabeth Finch
Howell, SPCP President, is a pioneer, recognized leader and lecturer in the
permanent cosmetics industry. She has manufactured pigments since 1989,
which are now used globally. In that same year, she was invited to join the
offices of Dr. Roy Geronemus, former Chief of Laser Surgery at NYU. In 1992
Ms. Howell earned the prestigious credentials as the Director of the
Department of Permanent Cosmetics at Saint Barnabas Hospital in Livingston,
NJ. She also brings her experience to the SPCP Train the Trainer program.

Kathleen Ciampi, CPCP
Kate has been in
the permanent cosmetics industry since 1991 and owns a tattoo studio,
Perfection Dermagraphics, in a Chicago suburb. As a specialty trainer and
consultant, she teaches advanced full lip classes on a regular basis
worldwide. She has a background in nursing as a cardiology department
administrator. Kate served on the SPCP Board of Directors from 1994-1998 as
President and Secretary. She later served as Convention and Trainer
Coordinator, and is now the CEO, Executive Director, operating the SPCP
office in Des Plaines, Illinois.

De Decker, CPCP
Lesley has been in the permanent
cosmetics industry for five years and works from many different locations
across the Flemish part of Belgium She also works locally, with three highly
regarded plastic surgeons performing areola tattooing. Lesley specializes in
and provides advanced trainings in eyebrow hair strokes, full lips, and
color theory. In addition to permanent cosmetics, Lesley cares for her five
year old son Maxime, who is already inspired by permanent cosmetics. Lesley
is the SPCP Delegate for Belgium.
