Fall Conference 2014 – Philadelphia, PA October 4-5, 2014

The best event to be offered this Fall for the Permanent Cosmetics / Permanent Makeup / Cosmetic Tattoo / Micropigmentation Industry!

For the sixth time, the SPCP is holding Fall Conference in Philadelphia on Saturday, October 4th and Sunday October 5th at the Sonesta Hotel.

Prior to the event will be a Bloodborne Pathogens Class on Friday afternoon, given by Laurna Marika of Health Educators.

Next is a Full Day Workshop on Saturday with Karen Betts, CPCP. Karen will take you through her steps to become a hair-stroke brow maestro. In this hands-on workshop with attendees armed with their machines and practice pads, Karen promises to share all her latest beautiful brow techniques. She will cover every aspect of hair-stroke brows, from the moment the client enters your office, through to design, application, and finishing.

The day ends with our networking reception where old friends gather to welcome new ones!

Conference Day Two on Sunday kicks off with a presentation on eyeliner tattooing by Kate Ciampi, CPCP with an emphasis on grips, stretches, and safety tips to more easily achieve consistent results. We can even try some of these out ourselves! Next will be social media queen Nikol Johnson-Sanchez, who will enlighten you on the key ways to boost your business using Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. If you are not actively engaged in marketing your business through social media you are missing out on valuable clients and opportunities.

We are going to have great fun with the Original Tattooed Bride Photographer, Mike Allebach, as he takes us through a start to finish photo shoot! Mike will certainly help our businesses since, as they say a picture’s worth a thousand words and ours aren’t always saying much…he will even teach us how to use our cell phone cameras.

Following Mike is a real treat! Val Glover-Hovan, CPCP and April Meese, CPCP team up to present: Camouflage Practical Matters and Case Studies. They will take you on a journey into the world of paramedical tattooing. Learn how to use your pigment palette to achieve amazing results and also discover what procedures to avoid. This is a cannot-miss presentation for those wishing to expand into the virtually untapped and rewarding field of scar camouflage.

The day culminates with the always popular Panel of Experts hosted by our very own Conference Emcee, Debra Guastella, CPCP! Get answers to your most pressing industry-related questions – this panel will consist of Fall Conference Presenters. During this panel time, the Certified Permanent Cosmetic Professional credentialing exam will be administered to those who have pre-registered for the CPCP exam prior to the Conference.

SPCP events are designed for continuing education for its members; therefore membership is a requirement.  Please join here!
