NEHA Body Art Model Code

The National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) recently disseminated the revised Body Art Model Code (BAMC).  The SPCP proudly participated in the production of the first one, over 20 years ago, and we are equally proud to help with this current version. To quote NEHA – ” The BAMC is available for local and state agencies and other organizations to use as a resource to update their own body art codes and protect public health. ”

Over the years the SPCP has observed massive differences in requirements across the nation and abroad.  It is our hope that the BAMC will be used as a guide when rules are being reviewed and updated.
